Through the Door of Hope: Exploring the path of hope in challenging times.
Chris Chapman
23 September, 6.30 – 8.00 pm (online via Zoom)
This evening will explore the nature of hope, hope’s roots in the activity of God, and ways we can actively step into hope’s path. Hope has its roots in a God who is always moving into how things are. The door of hope is open and God steps through it with purpose and compassion. Through this same door we can step out in God into all that is broken apart.
Christopher Chapman is a guest director of individually guide retreats for St. Beuno’s Jesuit Retreat Centre, and teaches spirituality for St. Augustine’s College of Theology. Formerly he was Spirituality Adviser for the Diocese of Southwark. He is the author of Seeing in the Dark, Earthed in God: and Send my Roots Rain: Refreshing the spiritual life of priests, all published by Canterbury Press.
